damnnnnn, there goes my scoreless streak. i pretty much didn't have it workin too well today, but for the most part i held it down. 1 run, first ER of ST. if jaret makes the rotation over me i'm pullin the race card.

left the kids and girl back in tampa.. first night of complete freedom in awhile. i'm going out for sure, i heard some of the guys talkin about hitting up a club. yeah, that sounds good. i'm out.

man, last night was crazy. i was up late my agent, working over some last minute stuff... incentives and shit. but it all came together, no hearing on Monday. we met pretty much half way - 3.6milly and $100,000 in incentives. decent raise. i'll hit 4 next year.

we left orlando this morning, one last breakfast with mickey then we drove to tampa. the boys are pretty cool about leaving disney... for now anway.. mostly because i hyped up going to the beach and swimming. i hope they forget about the swimming part because the water is probably too damn cold for that. the lady and the boys are staying in tampa for the weekend, jen wants to check out the place.. see what she could bring down next month. they're staying till sunday.. so rest easy, i'm not missing that party.

i haven't smoked since sunday. i wanna light up right now... damn. can't wait for monday.

damn, disney really is the most magical place on earth. my boys haven't fought in 2 straight days. during the day they're both having too much damn fun to be bothered with killing each other, and by the time we hit the hotel they're already passed out for the night. they're going to pitch a hell of a fit when they have to leave tomorrow.

got my hearing on monday. i was hoping we could avoid it, but oh well.. gotta take care of mine, ya know? i'm not gonna get 4.15, but i'm gonna get more than the 3.1 for sure. i wouldn't mind if we were able to work out something that what's his name... christ, no disrespect, but i can't remember it right now. the white kid, with the spanish last name who smokes a lot. anyway, a multi-year deal. that'd be cool. but i'll take my one year and earn the rest next season.

back in the big CO. it's cool to be back home with the boys. right now it's just me & tate... 'dre bus should be getting here soon, so this gonna be a quick update.

tampa was fun as hell. sheff, those parties were off the hook. i had a damn good time. i got everything done i need to do.. mostly just find a place to lay our heads. i got to check out legends field.. nice place, i like it there.

i should be back down that way first week of feburary. we're doing the whole disney thing before training starts. we took them 2yrs ago.. they've been looking at the photos and bugging to go back. dre was 2 so he really doesn't have any memory of it. tate was a couple months old and spit up on chip.. or was it dale? either way, we're talking protectile vomit allll over the thing. this trip should go a lot smoother. only thing is it's just the 4 of us so next extra help. we should be able to handle, one on one seems fair.. it's when they out number you that you really gotta worry. then they'll come back to greeley for a few weeks & come down to tampa in march.

we should have this whole contract shit worked out soon, we're trying to avoid the hearing. we'll figure something out.

oh man, what a party! dammmn, am i feeling like shit today. i just woke up about an hour ago. but it's all good... now time to go back home.

we celebrated new years last night with the kids, fake count down and all. now tonight is the real party. my parents are taking the boys for the weekend and much fun will go down starting tonight.... we're spending a night in vegas. going, getting wasted, and coming back the next afternoon. staying out of trouble but getting crunked to no end.

hell yeah, happy birthday to me. big ol' 2 - 8. cos it's so close to christmas i don't get to truely celebrate tonight... no smoking, no drinking. my ma's gonna bring over a cake which is good because her's are better than jen's. but, jen and the boys did make me a nice breakfast this morning. dre's out of school till after the new year so we're all just hanging out at home and shit. i don't know if i mentioned but she moved back in a few weeks ago. things are good. now where are my presents?? i got a few this morning... some new sneakers - i got the thrill crocs in green, they're pretty hot from dre. and a pair of low air force 1, the harlem ones from tate. my lady got me some clothes and an earring.

you guys see the g unit yankees sneakers they put out a few months back? i finally got some for the boys for christmas. they need to put them out in some different colors. they'd look hot in gray.

goddamn near 10o'clock and a got 2yr old running around in a cape. replace the 10p with 3a and the 2yr old with a 22yr... feels like baseball season.

so much crazy shit going on with you guys, kinda feel like i don't have much to say. but tomorrow's the arbitration deadline... i'm not stressing. it's like ja rule said before 50 knocked him off the scene - i'm not cocky, i'm confident. i think i might start my negotation around 20 mill... smally, go for the same. we can pull a friends move and hold out. yeah, i watch friends. so?

can't wait for spring training. no offense to the other guys or nothing bug i'm ready to battle and that 5th spot will be mine. take no prisoners.

i'm gonna start picking everyones brains soon... first, where the hell to live? i'm gonna have the family with me until probably sept when dre starts kindergarten. shit, how'd he get that old? i guess i got time to worry about that, but it'd be cool to get it set up before st when i'm around to help and shit.

what's up kids? ok, not kids. old bastards. not much going on here, just chilling and enjoying the off season. right now i'm just sitting here with a passed out kid on my lap checking up on all you kids & reading up on all the moves going on. so far i've been staying out of most trade rumors... that's cool. i'm looking forward to starting up the season again as a yankee and ended it a world champ.

i took the boys to see santa last weekend. i guess we can put "santa" right along with "wax figures" on the list of things freak the hell out of taten. but dre loves the old white guy so it wasn't a total bust. we got most of the christmas shopping done. tate's been hanging out with this little girl next store to my parents and now he wants all this girl crap... i say she's a bad influence. screw this new aged crap... i'm not buying my boy a doll.

Man, this is some crazy shit. I get more love HERE in COLORADO being a YANKEE then I did playing for the COLORADO ROCKIES. Haha... crazy shit. Went out with the boys (not the kids, my other boys) tonight and got CRONKED. It felt good to let lose man... yeah... HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Ha, forgot all about that holiday!
